Saludos amigos y bienvenidos a Nuestro Legado Hispano Inc (Our Hispanic Legacy, Inc).
Queremos expresarles nuestros mejores deseos y agradecimiento al visitar esta web.
Nuestro Legado Hispano Inc. es una asociación sin ánimo de lucro, legalmente registrada en Miami, en el Estado de La Florida, Estados Unidos, que intenta mantener vivo el legado hispano, dándolo a conocer al mundo entero, pero de una forma especial a los hispanos en este país, para sentirse orgullosos de su origen y fomentando nuestro gran aporte a la diversidad cultural de la Humanidad.
Al mismo tiempo pretendemos acercar a nuestra cultura y valores a todos aquellos que, sin ser hispanos, quieran conocerla y ser conscientes de las grandes aportaciones del fenómeno cultural hispano. Estamos desvinculados de cualquier grupo político y comprometidos con fomentar la paz y el entendimiento armonioso en nuestra sociedad.
Nuestros objetivos son la revalorización y difusión de la cultura hispana pues muchos estudiantes hispanos y sus propios padres, no tienen un claro conocimiento de la riqueza de su cultura. En lo que a Estados Unidos se refiere, hay muchos estadounidenses que tampoco están informados de las raíces hispanas de este país, ni cómo los aportes culturales hispanos han enriquecido esta nación, así como aquellos otros países que fueron influidos por el contacto con la cultura hispana.
A través de Nuestro Legado Hispano tendrán acceso a información y documentos que pueden utilizar en sus estudios, para ampliar sus conocimientos.
Pretendemos recuperar, difundir y valorar nuestra herencia cultural que tanto sirvió para el progreso, la creatividad e ingenio y que tanto enriqueció al mundo, siendo el más importante puente cultural entre Europa, América, África y hasta Asia.
No solo buscamos facilitar información, también pretendemos desarrollar actividades enfocadas hacia la difusión del papel histórico de nuestra cultura. Esperamos que sirva para conocernos mejor y aprender a compartir el pasado común, disfrutando su historia, sus personajes, sus artes, tradiciones y todos aquellos elementos presentes en nuestra herencia viva.
Nuestra labor será siempre una mirada hacia atrás sin rencor y al futuro con esperanza, y así lo representa nuestro emblema, que simboliza la unión de los mundos, pero también invita a la persona a conocerse a sí misma y a progresar, de ahí el lema: «Nosce te ipsum, progredere», conócete y progresa.

Welcome, friends, and welcome to Nuestro Legado Hispano Inc (Our Hispanic Legacy). We would like to express our best wishes and gratitude to you for visiting this website.
Nuestro Legado Hispano, Inc. is a non-profit association legally registered in Miami, in the State of Florida, United States. Its mission is to keep the Hispanic legacy alive and to share it with the world—especially with Hispanics in this country—so that they may feel proud of their origins and recognize the great contribution our culture has made to the diversity of humanity.
At the same time, we seek to bring our culture and values closer to all those who, though not Hispanic, wish to learn about them and become aware of the great contributions of the Hispanic cultural phenomenon. We are unaffiliated with any political group and are committed to fostering peace and harmonious understanding within our society.
Our objectives are to promote and spread awareness of Hispanic culture, since many Hispanic students—and even their parents—do not have a clear understanding of the richness of their heritage. In the United States, many Americans are also unaware of this country’s Hispanic roots, or of how Hispanic cultural contributions have enriched this nation and others that were influenced by contact with Hispanic civilization.
Through Nuestro Legado Hispano, you will have access to information and documents that you can use for your studies and to expand your knowledge.
We seek to recover, share, and value our cultural heritage—one that contributed greatly to progress, creativity, and ingenuity, and that so deeply enriched the world—serving as the most important cultural bridge among Europe, the Americas, Africa, and even Asia.
We not only aim to provide information but also to develop activities that highlight the historical role of our culture. We hope this helps us better understand one another and learn to share our common past, enjoying its history, its people, its arts, traditions, and all those elements that form part of our living heritage.
Our work will always look back without resentment and forward with hope. This is represented by our emblem, which symbolizes the union of worlds but also invites each person to know themselves and to grow. Hence our motto: “Nosce te ipsum, progredere” — Know yourself and progress.
